Skin cell production and replacement slows as we age. It takes approximately 28 days for the average adult to have cellular turnover—longer as you get older.

Consistency is key, and the results from treatments are cumulative. This is what motivated me to create a service that people can afford to do monthly: because that is when the real, long-term changes happen.
Frequent areas of concern for clients include acne breakouts, age management, hyperpigmentation, sun spots, Rosacea, sensitive skin, fine lines and wrinkles. The use of a Chemical Peel, LED light therapy, Ultrasound, Galvanic current, Radio frequency, Microcurrent or Dermabrasion is often needed in order to maximize results and is included in the price of the treatment.
This facial is 60 minutes in length and includes deep cleansing, a custom exfoliation, extractions, modalities if needed, mask, face, neck and décolleté massage and finishing products.

Microneedling is an FDA-approved electronic device that uses multiple fine needles to vertically pierce the skin. This causes collagen remodeling and enhances skin rejuvenation. Unlike needle rollers, microneedling uses a precisely-controlled stamping method to reach a set depth in the skin while minimizing excess damage to the epidermis.

How many treatments are necessary to achieve a good response?
Improvement is seen with each treatment but a series of 6 treatments is best to achieve optimal results.

How far apart are treatments done?
Microneedling treatments can be repeated every 4-6 weeks.

Is Microneedling safe for darker skin types?
Since no melanin-absorbing laser and no heat are involved, the Microneedling is relatively safer than lasers, such as IPL, for darker skin types*.

IS THERE DOWNTIME?
Downtime varies from 3-5 days. Patients can expect a slight irritation, redness, swelling, and light peeling.
WHAT DO I NEED TO AVOID BEFORE THIS PROCEDURE?
Prior to treatment, it is important to avoid sun exposure, Retin A, and Retinol. Patients must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.

The Difference You Can Feel
At Mandy Harris Aesthetics, I offer incomparable solutions and procedures. Our skin is a constantly evolving thing, with each of its skin cells replacing themselves every few weeks. As the new cells grow, the old ones die and are shed from the surface of the skin. In reality, this does not always happen, and the dead cells can linger on the skin for much longer than they are supposed to. This can leave the skin looking dull as the new cells cannot shine through, and the dead cells can make the skin look uneven or possibly flaky. The dermaplaning treatment is a skin treatment designed to help with this process. It uses a small, delicate blade, similar in appearance to a scalpel, which is held at a 45-degree angle.As the skin is held taut, the blade is gently moved down the face in small, short strokes. This helps to remove the dead skin cells, downy hair and any other debris that might be sitting on your skin. The treatment is followed by an enzyme or mild peel, serum or moisturizer (all depending on what your skin needs during your visit) to help boost the natural glow.
